(JUNE 2013) – Envision Radio Networks^® and RadioTraks^® are pleased to announce improvements to Majority Rules^™, the online music voting service that puts listeners in control of a station’s playlist. Two new voting event options and a new voting widget offer stations more customization and help promote real-time listener engagement and interaction.

Majority Rules^™ now offers two new types of moderated listening events. Stations looking to take ‘Battle of the Bands’ digital will benefit from the Majority Rules^™ Two Song Single Voting Event. This new voting event option pits two songs against each other in a ballot box and lets the listeners decide which they want to hear.

For a longer voting event that reacts to listeners’ actions and votes in real-time, Majority Rules^™ Shuffle allows listeners to give feedback on a song in queue and decide whether the scheduled songs should play sooner, later, or never.

Majority Rules^™ is also serving up its music voting platform in new, smaller customizable widgets as an alternative to the full page view. These voting widgets allow stations to incorporate voting on multiple pages throughout the site to increase participation while providing more digital real estate for sponsorships and advertising.

Majority Rules^™can be used for single voting events like song battles or to control song after song for longer periods of time, both of which give listeners the opportunity to interact with other listeners, on-air staff, and the station with its social plug-in.  Majority Rules^™ works with all major music scheduling software, plus it is mobile ready, so listeners can let a station know what they want to hear even while on the go.
