(DECEMBER 2006) The Chop Shop Radio Show is proud to announce Keith Richards as December’s inductee to the Guitar Hall of Fame. Richards joins previous inductees Steve Vai, Carlos Santana, Tony Iommi, Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, and more in the Chop Shop’s salute to the ultimate legends of guitar.

“As a song writer, he’s an A+.” says Mike McCready of Pearl Jam.  McCready continues “He wrote “Exile on Main Street” which could be the greatest album of all-time in my mind.”  Richards is an influence on musicians past and present, including Tesla guitar player Frank Hannon, who commented, “Keith Richards is one of the coolest songwriters and magical guitar players ever.”
