(MARCH 2010) April 20th is the release date for Infestation, the first new studio release in 11 years from veteran rock band Ratt, which will be released by Loud & Proud/Roadrunner Records. Envision Radio Networks®’ The Tour Bus will offer a FREE one-hour world premiere broadcast for Infestation hosted by Ralph Sutton and featuring interviews with the members of Ratt, exclusive music from the new album, plus a few rare cuts and acoustic performances!
“We wanted this to be like something that we would have written right after [1984’s] Out of the Cellar, Ratt lead vocalist Stephen Pearcy commented. “We definitely went back to basics with the mindset of a band with a lot of excitement and some great songs to get out.” Infestation was produced by Elvis Baskette (Chevelle, Alter Bridge.) in his Virginia studio, marking the first time the band has recorded outside of Los Angeles. The album is full of attitude and of reflection, cycling through a range of emotions. There are party anthems that Ratt are known for alongside more contemplative, thoughtful tunes.
