(MAY 2013) – Envision Radio Networks®’ Classic Rock Live is kicking off the summer with a FREE two-hour Summer Tour Spotlight that puts this season’s biggest classic rock tours at center stage.

The Classic Rock Live Summer Tour Spotlight will transport listeners to the concert of their dreams with two hours of digital live recordings available from Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones, Bad Company, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bon Jovi, The Eagles, Tom Petty, Black Sabbath, Steely Dan and Robert Plant.

Concert aficionado and host Pierre Robert (WMMR-FM) will discuss live shows, set lists, and tour life with some of the rock legends hitting the road this summer including Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Joe Walsh, Tony Iommi, Tom Petty and Rich Robinson.

(MARCH 2012) – Envision Radio Networks® and The Guitar Radio Show, LLC are proud to welcome WRSW-FM/South Bend, IN as the latest affiliate of Classic Rock Live, the two hour classic rock show featuring recorded live performances and hosted by rock radio legend Pierre Robert (WMMR-FM/Philadelphia). With 107.3 WRSW-FM Lake City Rock now airing Classic Rock Live on Sundays at 10 p.m., it joins over 200 affiliates on the Envision Rock Network.

“One of the most requested items on WRSW is concert music. No matter how many live cuts we add to the system, we just can’t keep up,” said Mo Lightning, Program Director at WRSW. “I cannot wait to hear the response to Classic Rock Live when we debut it! The audience is going to love it!”

Classic Rock Live is the first “concert” radio show to adapt to the way people listen to music today by incorporating ten or more live performances from a variety of artists every hour, featuring rare and exclusive live versions of rock classics from such artists as Tom Petty, Aerosmith, The Who, U2, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Each week, Classic Rock Live includes the latest tour and artist news along with the exclusive “Wish You Were There,” segment, which highlights rock and roll dream pairings such as Jimmy Page joining Aerosmith on-stage or Roger Waters joined by Eric Clapton. Rarities are played in the “Unreleased Live” segment and the radio show ends each week with an “Encore,” featuring the iconic hits that you’ll always find in each band’s set list.
